Its grains are beautiful. The resonance, due to quality of the python skin and the wood, is robust. High notes and midtones are near perfect and the basses are well well defined, though not as mellow as a non-performer might expect it to be.
Overall, this instrument has real potential in becoming a favourite if he mantains it well and plays on it regulalr to season the entire instrument.
